# Cannot edit gallery

 * having updated to the latest version of WP, I’m having trouble editing new and
   existing galleries.
    When editing a page/post, instead of getting the gallery
   edit icon, only the TEXT version and plain thumbnails is available, even in Visual
   mode see image link below.

 * I’ve disabled all plugins, cleared cache and updated everything i could. The 
   issue persists. Please help!
 * PS: no issues in creating a gallery, only when editing.
