# Cannot edit drafts—white page

 * I am pretty much completely new to WordPress, CSS and all this web stuff. And
   I am a total dummy when it comes to code, etc. I seem to have screwed up my blog,
   so I really hope that someone will take pity on me and be my savior. The problem
   is: I can no longer edit a draft for one of my Pages. I have tried several toubleshooting
   tips that I found on this website: I disabled the Visual Editor and removed plug-
   ins, and the draft page still will not load. This problem started the other day:
   I added an .flv file to the page, and then started experimenting with different
   FLV-player plugins. All of the players would make the draft page not load. I 
   could however see the page when viewed in Preview of the Page mode. I settled
   on using the JWPlayer with the Glow theme in conjunction with Shadowbox (as seen
   on the WordPress blog artofthetitle.com)—although no player would ever appear
   on the page…when JWPlayer was activated, the video would download, and when Shadowbox
   was activated, the video would play in a player with the default theme instead
   of the Glow theme. I am digressing. (If anyone can provide information on fancy
   FLV players and getting them to work, that would be great too.)
 * I have removed all of the plugins, removed the .flv media from the Media list,
   reinstalled WordPress, restarted Safari about three times, emptied the cache 
   files, and the draft page still will not load. I do not understand what I am 
   doing wrong, but this is a very frustrating situation. I can’t for the life of
   me figure out how to fix the problem, and get the draft page to load successfully
   again so that I can finish the Page and be done with it. Do I have to start all
   over with this page? I hope not, since it is over 5600 words.

 * You may be able to salvage the post by going into the database and pulling it
   out, but I think it’s making calls to a plugin somehow.

   database?

 * No, you don’t need to start over, but you may have something in that post which
   is causing the white screen. Do you have PhpMyAdmin or something?
