Cannot download files locally

    ello,

    Using the latest version of Updraftplus, I seem to have an issue downloading files locally from a backup set.

    The backups complete successfully with no errors, when I click download to local computer it reports ir finds the file, but when I click download it says webpage not found. I can see the files are present on the server and the restore process seems to complete without issue too, I just cannot download them to my local computer.

    Any ideas?

    Hi Mark,

    If that happens, then it’ll be that your web hosting setup has a proxy that is getting in the way.

    To work around that, download the files by a different method: if they are stored on remote storage (e.g. Dropbox), then visit the remote storage website (e.g. visit http://www.dropbox.com); or if they have no remote storage, then use FTP to locate them in wp-content/updraft in your webspace.
