    I enabled the desription box thinking it was a description on mouse hover. Now I want to disable it and I can’t. I did uncheck the description box, empty the cache, but its still there.

  • When you “uncheck[ed] the description box”, did you also delete the description itself? It’s a bit counterintuitive, but if you set a description for a menu item and then remove the description box (under “Screen Options”), the description remains associated with the menu item, even though you can no longer edit it.

    I unchecked the box and then deleted the description. I will try adding a new description and then delete it and uncheck. Hopefully that does the trick…

    Resolved. Thanks Stephen. Maybe you could look at my post in this forum about Mdtf while configuring menus… 🙂
