    Hi there,
It looks like it is not possible to disable registration in Ultimate Member plugin version 2.4.2, even though wp-admin>Settings>General>”Anyone can register” is unchecked.
Pointing to the page containing the shortcode for the registration form, the form is shown and registration takes place regardless.

The point is that I need to temporarily disable site registration and would like to keep the shortcode in place (no page modification). Hiding the shortcode for registration is a partial solution since the system is still exposed to potential risk of registration attack.

Thanks in advance for your help.
    Best regards.

You can make the UM Registration Page Password Protected or Private
in WP All Pages -> Quick Edit.

    Thank you for response.
This does not sound like a solution.
The point is that even disabling ”Anyone can register” the registration form appear on the page. having a password protected page does not solve the issue, neither semantically, nor technically, for a number of reasons.

Note that unchecking WP Admin Settings -> General -> Membership “Anyone can register” disables only registration from wp-login.php
