# cannot delete widgets

 * I have some widgets showing up in my sidebars even though they are not added 
   to the widget area. Any ideas on how to remove them?

 * Many themes supply default widgets in sidebar areas where you do not put in your
   own widgets. You can usually put in an empty Text widget to remove them, but 
   it leaves a blank space for the sidebar. Removing the blank space is usually 
   a bigger problem, depending on your theme.
