Plugins~ Yeh I’m just a beginner AND I’m beginning to see just how cumbersome and from what I’ve seen too ALSO just how dangerous they can / could be.
SO I tOO will do my best to limit their use.

I did download that plugin and it worked a treat. Once done though I deactivated it, knowing there’s a chance I may need it again and thinking deactivate, whilst not as good as to delete …be a fair 2nd bet.

As for WordPress version YES It has been updated BUT~ my hosts automatically see to that, so a bit difficult to see how I could possibly help.

By the by~ since you seem at present to have a bit of time, Do you know of any plugin that works better than DEFENDER from ; Made with by WPMU DEV?

It promises so much BUT then gets off on insisting one gets the pro version.

AND I ALWAYS GET THE UNLIMITED Version of everything I get.

ANYWAY~ I have a button problem. Tried what Wp and Elementor have, even signed onto an online button generator.

AND THE ONLY THING I like about then *is* that the click aspect is already included ( just add link )
BUT~ I have a series on images AND WANT them to be my buttons.

They are on my site;

……. only 1 page and when you scroll up you will see them stick to top of page.

Any ideas would be much appreciated

~ So * buttons * is little more than consumer terminology and that, little more being a convenient *and sellable* way to parcel a standardised approach to recognising a *move-on link*.
Sellable, however, has resulted in no ability to add my own images & I don’t mean vector images, to Elementors icon Library, annoying since I can still see a use for those vector graphics.

BUT~ since Elementor does allow for the saving of your own columns I could make for myself my own version. Would you, by the way, know how to create a separate folder in the main Library in which to put those images?

OH & I forgot to ask how you are doing on your Bulk delete issue?

Anyway~ i have an app that makes icons, buttons and just about anything else a web page might want, in fact just used it to make a button ( on site ) and works perfectly ( yet to put link in though ).

Not able to separate those and other such into their own folders though, could soon become a problem ~ SO MANY images in Library…… tedious.

Would I be right in thinking you actually run a multi-site SITE yourself?

If so~ whilst still not there ( more of a collective really, not an agency as such ) I would be really interested in both pitfalls and problems you’ve encountered doing so.
I have downloaded the Wpmet multi-site DMG but also still to upload. The support forum seems to be well supported though so may spend a bit more time on it.

Dam, I had no idea and now somehow I must fight to keep myself from feeling intimidated Dam, dam, dam wish I hadn’t asked, how the hell do I sound as if I am not now, picking your brains for free or working towards some highly personal agenda, Dam, dam, dam.
And I was so enjoying our talk.

As for the app, I think you will only be able to get for the Mac, called ART TEXT, they have a version 4 now @ £20 on the app store, might be cheaper on their site but apps like plugins, scare the hell outta me, so to app store I go just like to Apple I went, costly but the number of horror PC stories.. well.

Dam it~ and now that I know it, I can see that you’re exactly the person I’ve hoped to meet.
OH WELL~ let’s make it official ” might I hire you for an hour via Skype – to talk me through Hosting and what I should be able to tell the person who takes over my endeavour……. I being successful that is.? ”

Won’t be able to continue this conversation otherwise, SINCE~ for free is a subject I MUST raise with my collective AND getting for free * is * something THEY MUST NOT expect FROM ME.

Move this topic? That would be sad because YOUR Delete issue HAS NOT BEEN resolved.
I also note that when I peruse the forum, I often open the topics that have more than just 1 or 2 responses. That’s because just as you say and WE are proving , when still within WP-ISSUES, they can become very informative and interesting to the beginner, even if not those with more expertise.

BUT~ as you say, that be in the hands of Those Powers. I do wish, however, that they look at this conversation before moving it AND then TOO~ consider adding the ability to upload images.
PRECISELY BECAUSE OF THE * FACT * that whilst a link to ones own site can be useful ~ IT CAN ALSO BE debilitating, in that it can colour the way one both responded to and so too, views… that very important HELP… one seeks.

NOW~ On the *issue* of help via Skype or any other method for that matter.
MOST, I suspect wanting such, will be much like me in one regard~ ignorant, ignorant of not just the subject they seek help with BUT~ ALSO the dangers that it/those methods presents. I say that because * ignorance~normally * seeks to clear itself, with the best result being the sharing of screens AND therefore access to information, A KNOWLEDGEABLE HELPER…. would know how to compromise.
AND THAT ~ without the dangers of ~the SKYPE app itself being, the source of risk.

You may be beginning to feel, as I do, that there be a very, VERY big *WHITE SHARK* eyeing you from below…… and want as I’ve found by many… OUT.

Personally, I don’t get it~ ( Get another person into the water, take turns getting a big lung full of air and dive a little deeper… Great Whites do but very rarely munch on those underwater…. *with them too*.

If not wanting OUT just yet… look forward to your personality wanting OUT, @least whenever you or I have seen the GREAT WHITE… wink and let us be.
