# Cannot delete Free version plugin

 * I get the following error trying to remove free version of plugin:
    Deletion 
   failed: There has been a critical error on your website.Learn more about debugging
   in WordPress.

 * Thank you for reporting this issue. Indeed, I’m already aware of it and it will
   be fixed in the next version (in the few coming days)
 * In the meantime, you can delete it directly via FTP if you have access to it.
   To do this, please go to your WordPress installation folder > “wp-content” > “
   plugins”, then delete the folder “advanced-database-cleaner”. This will force
   deleting the plugin.

 * I’m having the same issue as of today. I have the most current version of wp 
   installed. I can’t delete a free plugin.

 * I am at learning stage, I have created a demo plugin on my website [mapanache](http://mapanache.com),
   but when I trigger function uninstall it gives me following error.
