Ah yes I see, apologies, first time that has actually happened to me so I assumed it was a bug or my post my lost. Once more apologies, lesson learned!

    Hi @allmyhoney

    A couple questions for you:
    1) Above the map you can see a list of all the marker metaboxes. Do you see a metabox that is empty? If so, try deleting it from there.
    2) Are you using the Pro version? Occasionally we’ve seen this behavior with our Mashup feature.
    3) Do you have a link to the map so I can see it live?

    Hi @matt Cromwell.

I will try and answer you here.

Yes I tried deleting the markers from the marker metaboxes and from the map and no both methods no luck.

I am using the free version here not the premium version.

here is the link live: http://www.ummera.com/retail/

I see. This is a known issue, which happens when the add marker button gets hit multiple times.

Here’s the best way we can help at the moment:

    1) Use the WordPress Export tool to export JUST your Google Maps posts to an xml file.
    2) Post that somewhere so I can download it and test with it.

That will be helpful so I can duplicate your problem reliably and look for a workaround for you.

    Thanks!

    Hi @matt Cromwell

Please find the Google Maps xml file here: http://www.jamjo.ie/downloads/ummera/ummera.wordpress.2016-07-18.xml

    Hope this helps.

Unfortunately I still can’t replicate that problem. We do see it happen from time to time, but the only solution is to delete the map completely and start again unfortunately.

We’re keeping an eye out for it in the new version, so keep an eye out for that soon. Thanks!

Deleting the map for me is a disaster if I am honest as many hours were spent creating it due to the fact there are a good deal of markers on the map, as you can appreciate it would not be sensible to go about spending another half day creating this map not knowing what the actual issue was as how would I trust that it would not happen again!!

Unfortunately I cannot use a plugin that is not at the very least reliable. I will need to move to another plugin here.
