    This sounds like either an outdated server requirements, or a plugin conflict.

    Please try the following:
    1) Disable all other plugins.
    2) Install this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/send-system-info
    2) After activating the plugin, go to “Tools > System Info”
    3) On that page you can create a URL of your system info, or copy and paste it into a .txt file. Provide either of those options for me to take a look at your server environment

    That will help me understand your environment so I make recommendations.
