Cannot create a Blog when its already deleted by author

I am trying to create a blog on wordpress but the name I am looking for is not available. When I try to acces the same blog, I get the message :-
The authors have deleted this blog. The content is no longer available.

Why then I am not being given the opportunity to create the blog when its already deleted by the author.

Please someone help, as I need the blog in that name as its on my website name.
