 * I am trying to create a “copy” of the System Status report for WooCommerce to
   be able to log a support request. I can generate the report, but when I click
   on the “Get System Report” button nothing happens. I’ve tried a few different
   browsers, checked for pop-ups, etc.
 * Any suggestions?

 * Hi [@torosiete](https://wordpress.org/support/users/torosiete/). I’m sorry you’re
   having trouble accessing a copy-and-paste-friendly copy of your system status
   report. I haven’t heard of this particular issue before. If worse comes to worse,
   you can copy the web-friendly version of the report instead. This is not formatted
   as nicely when you copy and paste it, but it should do in a pinch if you need
   to have that information in order to contact support.
 * To figure out why the paste-friendly version of the report isn’t appearing, I
   would start by checking for JavaScript errors on the status page. You can check
   for JavaScript errors on a web page with your browser of choice by following
   the steps outlined here: [https://wordpress.org/support/article/using-your-browser-to-diagnose-javascript-errors/#step-3-diagnosis](https://wordpress.org/support/article/using-your-browser-to-diagnose-javascript-errors/#step-3-diagnosis)
 * Could you screenshot what you see when you check for JavaScript errors and post
   a link to the image? If you don’t already have a screenshot service installed,
   here are a few options:

 * Hi Austin! Thanks for your thorough reply.
 * I’ve tracked this down to the WordPress 5.5 update that apparently “depreciated”
   calls to jQuery. This has subsequently broken many functions of many plugins
   and general WordPress backend (Dashbord) administrative functions – depending
   on what themes you have active.
 * I am using TwentySeventeen 2.2, which has a new release of 2.4 which may fix
   this problem, but I didn’t immediately update the theme because I have a customized
   version.
 * To fix this error and many others, I did find a solution recently (sorry I didn’t
   yet update this post as I just figured it out) with a plugin called
 * jQuery Migrate Helper.. it allows those calls to go through. Upgrading the theme
   might also fix the problem. Here is more information about the fix that may help
   with other people you are trying to help that have had problems with WordPress
   5.5 breaking all of their plugins…

 * Thank you so much for your help.
