    Yep. Either get:

    issue continues please contact support with this message: verify_secrets_missing
    Try connecting again.
    Error Details: The Jetpack server encountered the following client error: Verification took too long

    OR

    issue continues please contact support with this message: verify_secrets_mismatch
    Try connecting again.
    Error Details: The Jetpack server encountered the following client error: Secret mismatch

    Thanks for the email. I think I had identified the issue, something with security or object caching, but I was wrong.

    Jetpack seems to intermittently blow its connection to wordpress.org. Don’t know why. Tried deactivating plugins sequentially (one, then two, then three) but after it successfully logs in, it blows up again later.

    Dead right now. Frustrating.

    I’m sorry to hear about the continued trouble. Can you please use Jetpack’s Debugger module to send us some more information about your site? To do so, follow these steps:

    1) Go to the Jetpack page in your dashboard (Jetpack > Jetpack).
    2) Scroll down to the footer of the page and click the “Debug” link (shown here: http://d.pr/i/OF6d ).
    3) Click the link that says “click here to contact Jetpack support.”
    4) Fill in the description box, your name, email address, and a link to this thread.
    5) Click the “Contact Support” button.

    Then we’d be happy to look into this further. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks!

    It seems that the problem, for me at least, is the gator cache object cache (beta).

    Don’t know why, but it ruins the jetpack connection for me.
