Looks like you don't have an Analytics account yet. Once you create it, click on "Re-fetch my account" and Site Kit will locate it.
But when i try to connect, i am CONSTANTLY redirected on my homepage.
Deactivated Plugins.
Deactivated CDN.
Tried in incognito mode.
Nothing changes…
@dharma23 thanks for your report. Are you aware of any security implementations like ModSecurity enabled at your host? Your issue sounds similar to this topic, which was resolved by adjusting those settings (temporarily disabling it). We are investigating this issue, but it would be good for us to know if this is a factor in your case.
Hi, i’ve disabled my mod_security via htaccess, but nothing changes.
Tried several options but always the same error: cannot connect to AdSense and Analytics (Search console is fine).
Don’t know how to fix, i’m going to ask my hosting provider if they can make something, but i didn’t realized how complicated would be to configure this plugin
@dharma23 I appreciate the efforts you’ve been making to get Site Kit connected. In most cases Site Kit does setup fine, but there can other applications, hosting environment configurations, browser extensions or other software which may impact reporting or installation. We’re working hard to mitigate any of these factors.
Even though you’ve disable ModSecurity via htaccess
can you check from your hosting control panel or with your provider to deactivate temporary at hosting level, some rules or configurations only be altered at host level.
If you are able to disable ModSecurity temporarily please delete the plugin in full before attempting setup once more from a Chrome browser incognito window, after installing the plugin from the WordPress repository.
You can also share your Site Health information and URL if you wish, maybe there is something we can see which may also be impacting AdSense and Analytics module setup.
@dharma23 have you had the chance to check the above?
@dharma23 we made several updates in version 1.4.0 to address the issue. Could you update and let us know if you’re able to connect? Thanks!
@dharma23 since we have not heard from you, I am marking your topic as resolved. If you have any further questions or concerns, please feel free to open a new support topic.
