Hey @seanlance ! Are you talking about the website listed in your forums profile here, or your general WordPress.org profile here? Also, can you share the exact error you get when trying to update this, and any other details that you can share about your browser, OS, etc?
I am talking about general WordPress.org profile here:

The error message says:
There was a problem updating some of your profile information. Please try again.
After that, it also updates my forum profile details to exact same of general WordPress.org profile.
Browser is Google Chrome latest version.
OS is Windows 11 latest stable updated.
My problem is that why I am forced to keep my old website address on WordPress.org profile when it doesn’t exists?
That sounds super frustrating, and shouldn’t really happen. Can you try emptying the website field and saving the profile without any website, and see if you still get the error?
I emptied the website field and clicked on Save Changes then,
There was a problem updating some of your profile information. Please try again.
Same thing exists and Not updated!!
That sounds very strange. In any case, I asked a moderator to empty the website field from your profile. You can try adding your correct website now, and come back here if you still have issues saving it.

When you contact the #meta channel, inform them what your WordPress.ORG forum user ID is. That will help the folks find your account and ascertain what the issue is. (Usually, it’s the system thinking something is going on with spam.)

Also, I wanted to change my username but I don’t see it possible. Besides, on General WordPress.org profile, I haven’t kept my full name and I am not able to modify and save it until now. It says the same message:
There was a problem updating some of your profile information. Please try again.
I will tryout Slack next time. But in case of spam, I am not sure why WordPress.org system thinks that my 12 years old active account could be spam! Very amazing!!
