# Cannot change permalinks! SOS!!!

 * Hi,
 * I need urgent help with the permalinks. When I change it to something else like
   [http://www.site.com/2010/08/sample-post/](http://www.site.com/2010/08/sample-post/),
   it say “Permalink structure updated.”
 * But, when I click on the pages and posts links, it say “The webpage cannot be
   found”
 * So, how do I fix it?
 * Thanks in advance for your help!
