  • I sent a new plugin to two days ago to see if they would upload it to the directory. Now I realise that my registered email address is now defunct and I have no idea on the status of my plugin.

I found this link but it seems that this is still a problem.

    1) How do I update my email address?
    2) How do I find out about the status of my plugin request?

  • You should have an edit link top-right on to be able to change your forum login.

Sorry, I didn’t make it clear. I’ve tried to update my email address and website but the settings are not saved. Every time I try to update these settings, they revert back to the original incorrect values.

IIRC you have to be a member for some set amount of time before you can edit those fields. This is to stop spammers from pimping their wares, or undesirables from registering with one email and changing to another to be dinks.

Yarr, also if you have waited a while, try logging in and out. I’m having a few issues myself lately with various commands not registering unless I log myself back in.

Been a member for over a year.

I’ve tried to add a new plugin to the database but have no idea of its status (I think it might have been rejected) but due to my email not being updated I’ve not recieved any news as to why it might have been.

I’ll try logging in and out.

I’m not able to change my email on my forum account. I have tried the “edit link top-right” and deleting cookies and login-out then logging back in. It’s weird because all the fields will update except for “Email”. Would there happen to be a confirmation for email change?

I’ve been a member for about 2yrs but haven’t been very active, and just now realized why I never get responses, cause my frigen email is so old. Anyway just want to change it, not a huge deal.

I looked around a lot and noticed this used to be an issue but has since been fixed, so if there is something I’m missing let me know.

Site mods can change the email address associated with the account, though I’m not sure what the best way would be for you to tell us what you want it changing to. Posting it here and then tagging the post as modlook would be simplest, I guess, then we know the request is coming from you as the account holder. (obfuscate it however you think best)
