Cannot change login email for developer.wordpress.org | WordPress.org

Hi,

I’m trying to change my account login email for wordpress.org (not wordpress.com).

After changing my email and updating my profile, I get a verification email. When I click on the link in the verification email, nothing happens and my email stays the same.

I’ve tried the same process 10 times. Can anyone advise on this? Thanks in advance?

Also ask your hosting provider what’s going on (e.g., if any of their SMTP filtering rules have changed recently; If for some reason your notification emails have been simply queued. etc.) Ask your hosting provider if you need to setup SMTP. If you do, then you can try a plugin for it. for example: https://wordpress.org/plugins/search/smtp/ – Also review this help guide: http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-fix-wordpress-not-sending-email-issue/

Hi @t-p ,

Thx for replying but the issue is not about self-hosted WordPress.

I am trying to change my account login email for https://developer.wordpress.org – which is the same login you used to access this forum and reply this post.

As mentioned, I did receive the verification email from WordPress.org but nothing happens when click on the link in the email.

Notify forum-password-resets@wordpress.org via email and provide them all relevant information.

@sterndata Thanks for the email address – contacted it a week ago and finally got my login email changed 🙂
