Title: Cannot change “from” email Last modified: March 9, 2017 --- # Cannot change “from” email * [Byte Boost Studios](https://wordpress.org/support/users/dcottreau/) * (@dcottreau) * [9 years, 4 months ago](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/cannot-change-from-email/) * Hi, * In the form settings I’ve set the “from” field to: * Website Inquiry * In the case above, I’ve used my domain email as suggested in the docs. However, when I send the email, it’s coming from my personal email address – which is a gmail address. I have no idea where this is coming from and cannot change it. No matter what I change this field to, it’s getting my personal gmail email from somewhere and using that. I’ve checked my profile along with the site settings email and neither of those reference my personal email. Further more, the email sent will say my name, not “website inquiry” – or whatever I put in there.
