# Cannot change Admin Email

 * Hello,
 * I have tried updating the admin email for my site through the Users section and
   through settings, but both have been unsuccessful.
 * The issue seems to be that WordPress is not following through with sending the
   confirmation email to the newly requested email for the update.
 * I have seen a prior unresolved post of similar issue that has been closed, so
   I am hoping this will get resolved & looked at.
