 * Hi,
 * This morning my site wouldnt auto update any plugins due to some directory issue.
   I then went to try and update my theme and it says I cannot edit my Theme Editor
   I changed the permissions but then it just goes to a 404

 * /wp-content/upgrade
    chmod these folders to 777 do the update chmod back to 755
   should work ok from now on

 * What about the First issue? Where it says the theme editior file is not editable?

 * some hosts require chmod of 666 on theme files that are edited
    they should be
   changed back to 644 when done
 * really – it’s simpler and quicker to ftp file to desktop- edit – ftp back to 
   site
