Support » Plugin: Content Aware Sidebars - Unlimited Widget Areas » Cannot add widgets to your sidebar

When I go to appearance > widgets and try dragging, let’s say a ‘custom html’ widget in your sidebar, it doesn’t work.

And then, a weird dashed RED border covers the (left) widget area, and all the widgets looks ‘disabled’. When clicking on the area -> it makes all widgets vanish.

Please see this screenshot and let me know what’s happening:

Also, the dragged widget is NOT visible inside the sidebar.

Thank you for reporting this, it definitely sounds like something is wrong. The red border should only appear when you’re dragging a widget from a sidebar and back to the Widgets container (to remove it).

Would it be possible for you to create an admin user for support [at] dev.institute? then I can take a look at it personally.

Otherwise, please let me know what plugins and theme you are using, and then I will try to reproduce the problem.

In the meantime it is still possible for you to manage your widgets. Instead of dragging them to a sidebar, simply click on the widget and select a sidebar from the dropdown: http://imgur.com/jTF0Vxf
