    Hello,

Please help me either adjust the home page floating icons settings for each site or please help me add the other subdomain sites to the dashboard.

I installed and set up Shareaholic yesterday on one website that uses a subdomain (e.g. sub1.domain.com).

I have seven other sites with the same domain that each use subdomain variations.

I cannot add these sites to the Shareaholic dashboard.

    sub1.domain.com
    sub2.domain.com
    sub3.domain.com
    sub4.domain.com
    sub5.domain.com
    sub6.domain.com
    sub7.domain.com
    sub8.domain.com

I need to get these added to the dashboard so that I can change the settings for the home page floating icons for each since these settings are only available in the dashboard and not available in each site (that is an unfortunate design decision).

Please help me either adjust the home page floating icons settings for each site or please help me add the other subdomain sites to the dashboard.

    Thank you,

    Chris

Hi @anotheropus can you tell us a bit more about the setup? Do you have separate Shareaholic Site ID’s for each sub-domain? (you can check under WP Admin > Shareaholic > Advanced) if so, you can link each one to your Shareaholic dashboard following:

    Hello thank you.

Yes, each of the sites has a unique Your Shareaholic Site ID.

I already tried linking each separate site to the dashboard using the information on that page–that is why I asked for help. It doesn’t work.

The link provides NO information about connecting the other sites using the Site IDs.

Please help me find a way to do this.

Chris, do you have 8 instances of the Shareaholic WordPress plugin installed, each with its own Site ID? Can you please share the individual Site ID’s here or via email jay at shareaholic dot com.

If you do have 8 instances, following the instructions linked above for each of the 8 should work.

Yes, I do have eight unique WP installs each with their own Shareaholic WordPress plugin.

I’ll email the IDs to you.

The first site worked when I clicked the Shareaholic Dashboard button. After that, each next site I click to add causes this issue:

    “Something may not be right…
dc.ourcommunitynow.com has already been added by another user. Are you sure you want to continue?
    Yes, continue anyway”

No matter what I do it will not add the new site.

However, I was able to get ONE of them to add–none of the others.

It’s too bad there’s not a screen for users to just enter the Site IDs.

Hi Chris, responded to your email. This should be a simple one. You’ll find the process to be almost as easy as entering Site ID’s 🙂
