# Cannot Add Events

 * I can no longer add events. There is no “Add Events” option any longer. I used
   to be able to. I also get a “You do not have sufficient permissions to access
   this page.” when I click on the locations tab.
 * The events are still appearing on the front end.
 * May I please get some help in determining how to fix this.

 * Do you have the correct permissions selected for the type of account you’re using
   under Events > Settings > General > User Capabilities?

 * I checked and it appeared that admin users were not able to add/edit events. 
   I updated this and saved, but was presented with this error message:
 * “Cannot load events-manager-options.”
 * I reloaded the WP Dashboard and can now see the events as expected.
 * Is there any reason I would get that error message, or why the admin would suddenly
   stop having permissions to edit?

 * There shouldn’t be. Do you have any other plugins or custom code running that
   deals with user permissions / access? It could be there is (or was) a conflict
   somewhere.
