    Hello,

NEED: I need help telling a new sidebar to use a published page as its Content Type.

    I have 20 working sidebars,
and their widgets work as well.
They all use pages as Content Type.

Today I added a new sidebar.

I tried to assign a page as the content type to the sidebar.
The page exists and is published.

    After I create the sidebar,

    1. when I click the drop down
    2. Select content type > Pages,
    3. and then type in the name of the desired (and published) page,

…the spinner starts and never ads the page to the sidebar.

Here is a screenshot of the spinner doing its thing:

Please help me tell the new sidebar to use a published page as its Content Type.

    Thank you for the help.

    Chris

Thank you for the detailed post.

The spinner indicates that another plugin or your theme is conflicting by loading another version of a JavaScript library that Content Aware Sidebars depend on (select2).

Can you try to deactivate your other plugins and see if the problem persists? Since Content Aware Sidebars has worked for you before, try starting with plugins you have recently updated.
Also what is the name of your theme?
