Cannot add a new post

    After updating to 4.8.1 I cannot create new posts. I can create new pages, add media, change old posts and so on, but cannot create new posts. When I click Add > Post (/wp-admin/new-post.php) I’m redirected to the main admin page – /wp-admin.

    I disabled all plugins, restored an older database, re-updated WordPress, deleted cash, – nothing helped. The problem is still there. I tried to contact my hosting provider and they could not help me saying that I use CDN (CloudFlare) and it’s their problem. But it is not!

    Can you please help me?

    Hello!

    Have you also tried switching your current theme with a default one from WordPress (e.g. Twenty Seventeen) to see if that changes anything?

    Make sure you create a full and proper backup before switching themes.
