• Resolved Shadow Blast

I noticed some features were missing so after searching around I found out that Jetpack had been disabled and so I went to activate it (already with the current update) and it just loaded a blank screen and went nowhere with nothing changing. Multiple attempts resulted in nothing and it was never turned on. Any help with this?

Hi there, could you post your site URL here, so I can have a look? Thanks!

    Thanks, it’s http://www.hiddenimportance.com
Also jQuery Updater does the same thing if that helps any. I’m not sure what the issue is, it might by theme or server related.

Thanks for the link! Can you please use Jetpack’s Debugger module to send us some more information about your site?

    1) Go to the Jetpack page in your dashboard.
    2) Click on “Help” tab in the upper right side of the page and click the link for “Jetpack Debugging Center.”
    3) Click the link that says “click here to contact Jetpack support.”
    4) Fill in the description box and your name and email address.
    5) Click the “Contact Support” button.

    Thanks!

There is no Jetpack page because I can’t activate it…
It used to be functional but at some point it ceased functionality and I can no longer use it at all.

Sorry about that! Can you please reinstall the Jetpack plugin manually?

To do so, download the Jetpack plugin here:
    http://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/jetpack.latest-stable.zip

Then, log in to your site via FTP, and delete the existing Jetpack plugin folder. You should then be able to reinstall the plugin manually by following the instructions here:
    http://codex.wordpress.org/Managing_Plugins#Manual_Plugin_Installation

I would strongly recommend that you make a complete backup of your website before trying this.

Please let me know how this works for you!

Thanks, I contacted the Hosting site and they found that the plugin “NextCellent Gallery” was causing issues with other plugins that caused Jetpack along with other plugins to keep from being activated. Hope this helps!

^ I meant “NextGEN Gallery”, not “NextCellent Gallery”
