Hi, this post says your WordPress version is 2.7.1 is that correct? Meteor Slides requires at least WordPress 3.0 and I strongly recommend using 3.1.3, the latest version.
I am seeing a problem in Firefox 4 where the slideshow does not move?
I have just reloaded windows 7 as it happens and I notice the issue is still there?
All seems well in IE and Chrome

Hi Pete, I tested the site in Firefox 4 on Windows 7 and it worked alright for me. First thing I would try is clearing the browser’s cache.
Yes I have cleaned everything out of the cache, before r-einstalling windows and again today.
Thank you for checking it all for me, it’s all a little strange, I noticed the problem before I reloaded windows 7. Now that I have the operating system freshly reinstalled and up to date, I’m at a loss as to what is causing the problem.
It is only an issue in Firefox 4 (which is also the only browser giving me a problem when I try to log into my Vbulletin forum admin area by seemingly looping in and out)
Is it possible that my system is lacking software of some kind perhaps?? Windows updates are current.
Thanks

thank you Josh, i updated my wp and it works !
(hope it works on windows/ie since i can only test my blog with firefox, safari and chrome.)
many thanks again.
@codagaleo No problem, the slideshow has been tested on Windows in IE 6/7/8 and should work fine in all of them.
@markopete No, only the browser should matter for this case. It wouldn’t hurt to try reinstalling Firefox, do you have any Firefox addons installed that could be causing problems?
I josh : since i don’t have a PC i never realized the pb but saw my blog today and the slideshow is not working on IE 8 (url on my profile). The slide doesn’t start and only the first picture appears. The arrows can be seen we moving the mouse over but nothing happens when clicking them.
many thanks in advance
David
Hi David, I don’t see that link, can you post a link to the page that doesn’t work in IE?
No problem codagaleo, I tested these links in IE and they worked fine for me. Do you know which version of IE you are having this problem with?
the linked pages have been tested on IE8 (when i wrote first) and on IE9.
my clients could see the first picture but the slideshow didn’t start, the little arrows on the first image are clickable but with no effect, instead of the lovely points under the first picture, i saw things like this _ _ _ _ _ _ _
I don’t have IE8 handy for testing, but I can’t seem to replicate this problem in IE9.
Everything looks fine, one thing I would try is changing the slideshow name/slug. It looks like it is a number right now, this should work, but there could be some issue with that, I would test it with a letter as the first character.
Other than that, it would most likely be a JavaScript conflict with one of your other plugins. I would try deactivating each of your other plugins and testing the slideshow to see if one of those is breaking it.
