Cannot access word press blog after incorrect password

    Hello,

    I recently tried to update my clients website blog but typed incorrect password and i got a message says something declined ( i dont remember what was it) after that i cannot access it when i click on the blog it redirects to website home page. i can access it from other computer. should i contact the developer to unblock my ip or something

    You seem to have a security plugin that blocks an IP address after some number of bad tries. Usually, these have some fixed duration and will expire on their own.

    If you didn’t install those plugins, contact your developer and make sure that your IP address has been whitelisted.

    Some hosts install “must use” plugins (e.g., Godaddy does this) so you or the dev may need to contact the host to release an IP block.
