    Hi
I recently updated a couple of widgets on my site http://www.thelocalgallery.co.uk and since doing so, I can no longer access the website, or the wp-admin page.
This is the message that is displayed, and I cannot get in.

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare widget_twidget() (previously declared in /home/content/51/9153451/html/wp-content/plugins/twitter-widget/twitter-widget.php:21) in /home/content/51/9153451/html/wp-content/plugins/twitter-widget/twitter-widget.php on line 21

    Can anyone please help?
    Thanks

FTP into your site (or whatever file management application your host provides) & delete the wp-content/plugins/twitter-widget folder.

THanks, but I’m not sure how I can do that. I do not have the FTP details

Do you have a current backup of your site? If so, try restoring the backup.

If not, have you tried using FTP (like FileZilla or a similar program) to go in and rename the plugin folders?

I do not have a backup, no 🙁

What are the FTP details that I would use to go in and rename folders etc?

Thanks again for any help – I am at a loss otherwise, and WP don’t offer any direct support.

You will need to contact your hosts for assistance with your FTP details.
