• I have a bit of a complicated issue. I am creating a site, hosted by HostGator, and using WordPress as the interface/site builder. I’ve gone through the process of setting it up, everything has been done correctly according to HostGator support. But when trying to access the site, whether just looking at the page, thesoapboxoffice.com, or trying to get into the back end, I’m getting all kinds of errors.

The real issue is this: the HostGator support guy could access my site with no problem. I’ve used 3 different computers and 4 different browsers in 3 different locations, all of which are serviced by AT&T, either Uverse or SBCGlobal. But when I ran up to my office, using one of the same computers that hadn’t worked at home, and got onto our office network, the site worked perfectly, no problems. Then had a friend in a different location who has AT&T access the site and he had the same problem.

So… I’m not sure if this is a WordPress issue, an AT&T issue, or something else but I’m running out of ideas on how to fix this problem. Help?

  • The site is currently accessible from the web. It seems to work fine with my iOS devices and my laptop, so it isn’t likely to be a theme issue. I doubt it’s WordPress related.

I’m getting all kinds of errors.

Maybe if you share some of the specific errors you are having, someone might recognize the symptom.

Right now I’m getting “Error 404.” At other times, the error was something about a redirect error. That one hasn’t shown up for a couple of hours now.
