 * Hi,
 * I have major problem with WordPress installed site at [http://www.kehonrakentamo.fi](http://www.kehonrakentamo.fi)
   The site is using the Bushwick theme. When I click to add new Plugins, or modify
   the theme I get 500 Internal Server Error. I cannot update WordPress to version
   3.9.2. either. Before this clicking the plugins link gave a blank screen in WP
   admin page.
 * I have tried to diagnosed the problem by changing the theme (no help), deleting
   all plugins and re-uploading everything but wp-content folder.
 * Is there anything else to try to fix the site. Please help if you can…

 * Please check allowed memory, you should increase allocated memory for the site.

 * Thanks for the quick reply! How can this be done? Should I contact my host or
   something? By making a test.php file I got info on the server, it says: “memory_limit
   64M”
 * PHP Version 5.2.17

 * I have followed through this tutorial:
 * [http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-fix-the-internal-server-error-in-wordpress/](http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-fix-the-internal-server-error-in-wordpress/)
 * Done all this:
 * **Checking for Corrupt .htaccess File** (deleted it, created a new one – no effect)
   **
   Increasing the PHP Memory Limit** (I checked and it´s supposed to be 64MB – which
   is ok) **Deactivate all Plugins** (Done – no effect except they disappear in
   the admin panel) **Re-upload Core Files **(uploaded all but wp-content folder–
   no use) **Ask your Hosting Provider **(send email but got no response – as this
   problem appeared suddenly, I not sure how can it the reason)
 * ;( Still looking for advice!

 * You should ask your host to look into it. I think its memory issue. they can
   increase the limit

 * Also try with another theme, change your theme to see if there is any issue with
   your theme.

 * Yep, I changed the theme to another it works, but I still cannot access Plug-
   ins or updates.
 * I just get:
 * > Internal Server Error
   > The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable
   > to complete your request.
   > Please contact the server administrator, [webmaster@kehonrakentamo.fi](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/cannot-access-plugintheme-option-internal-server-error/webmaster@kehonrakentamo.fi?output_format=md)
   > and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have
   > done that may have caused the error.
   > More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
   > Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an
   > ErrorDocument to handle the request.
   > Apache Server at kehonrakentamo.fi Port 80
 * I will ask the host to increase the memory, but I though 64mb was supposed to
   be fine…
