cannot access my site: Cannot redeclare options_typography_get_google_fonts()

    hi, don’t have any idea why but a i cannot access my site anymore. here what I see: Fatal error: Cannot redeclare options_typography_get_google_fonts() (previously declared in /home/rootsand/www/wp-content/plugins/wp-maintenance/wpm_fonctions.php:78) in /home/rootsand/www/wp-content/themes/DevineWP/includes/theme-fonts.php on line 107

    Please can anyone explain what that means and what I should do ? thank you.

    Hi Thuchet

    As I understand it, it’s an issue with the theme you’re using, Devine, and a plugin you’re using, wp-maintenace. Both the theme and the plugin are declaring a function (part of code) that’s called the same thing, options_typography_get_google_fonts().

    You’ll need to disable the plugin, which sounds difficult without being able to access your site! But, it’s easy if you’ve got FTP access to your website host. If you don’t have the FTP details, you’ll need to contact your hosting provider. Log in via FTP, navigate to the wp-content/plugins/ directory and delete (or rename) the wp-maintenance/ folder.

    You should then be able to access your site again.

    You may then have to find a different plugin to achieve the same functionality.

    hurrah!!! super! merci! merci thank you so much from Paris. I am not an expert but followed you advice and its works again 🙂 I need to learn how to save my site somewhere
