# Cannot access dashboard

 * Our blog has been unused for a while and now I cannot access the Admin Dashboard.
   I can login but when I go to the url /wp-admin/ I get a message that says “Sorry,
   you are not allowed to access this page.”

 * I can load the login page. Is your IP address blocked by the website? Test with
   a different internet connection

 * Thanks for your response. I have tried both my home and office computer, a colleague
   has also tried to gain access and has the same issue.
