# cannot access Dashboard

 * i have recently removed the word “wordpress” after my domain in settings:
 * Wordpress site: [http://www.cheerdynamix.co.nz/wordpress](http://www.cheerdynamix.co.nz/wordpress)(
   this is what i removed)
 * since then i can no longer access the dashboard

 * Take a deep breath. It’s a common scenario and many people before you have come
   right with this one.
 * Have a look at this article: [WordPress – Changing the Site URL and Home Settings](http://www.inmotionhosting.com/support/website/wordpress/wordpress-changing-the-site-url-and-home-settings).
   It give detailed instructions that cover making these changes via a number of
   options.
 * If you don’t come right, let me know if you’ve actually moved the WordPress files
   or if you just changed the address via the dashboard (Settings > General).
