# Cannot access Customize page

 * Hi,
 * I have 3 WwordPress websites, all with ver 4.1.1 installed, all using the Pinboard
   theme.
 * On one of my sites I am unable to use the Customize page. the Customize page 
   is completely blank and clicking on any menu on the left simply does not do a
   thing. (my other sites are OK).
 * I have completely uninstalled the Pinboard theme and reinstalled it but this 
   did not help.
 * I have changed to the Twenty Eleven theme but the same behaviour occures so I’m
   not entirely sure it’s theme related.
 * I have contacted the developer of Pinboard but have received no reply.
 * I suspect this has something to do with the customize.php file but I’m not sure.
   I tried to restore the file from an old backup but this did not help.

 * Can someone please assist. My knowledge of WordPress and PHP is very limited.

 * I ended up removing the wordpress installation and installing everything from
   scratch (WP, theme, plugins).
    I can now access the Customize page.
