  • Hi- I activated a new theme that my blog doesn’t seem to like. I cannot access my admin page, and instead get:

    “Not Found

    The requested URL /wp-admin/ was not found on this server.”

    when I attempt to access dashboard/admin to deactivate the theme.

    Thank you in advance for any help, and apologies if this has been answered before. I have been combing the forums and found nothing that I understood. I hope I chose the right section.

  • You can use an ftp client or the file manager in your hosts control panel to rename or remove the theme that’s causing the problem. WordPress should then fall back to the default theme and let you back in.
