# Cancelled Status

 * Hi,
    I have a question regarding Reservations Statuses, specifically the Cancelled
   status. We are receiving a large number of Cancelled Reservations notifications.
   What conditions have to exist for a Reservation to be Cancelled? Does the Reservation
   have to be manually Cancelled or does the status of the Reservation automatically
   change to Cancelled if it is not Completed manually?
 * Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

 * The status of a reservation changes to “Cancelled” if:
 * – Guest cancels it
    – Admin cancels it – A reservation is on hold and the admin
   doesn’t confirm it before the minutes defined here: [https://lopezb.d.pr/PYyJkN](https://lopezb.d.pr/PYyJkN)–
   A reservation was not marked as confirmed or completed (ie. pending reservations)
   and we reached the checkout date
 * In other words, a reservations must be marked as “Confirmed” when it is indeed
   confirmed.
