I had to delete the plugin due to some issue with other plugin for debug purpose. Now I want to install fresh. But couldn’t able to delete from plugins section, so i had to delete manually via ftp. Now I believe the tables the plugin is created while I used the plugin last 2 months stay in database.

So is it possible to name those tables name your plugin created ? So i can delete them all and then install as fresh.

    Thank you.

Question: Are you aware of your plugin any issue with jetpack videopress CDN? Is there any issue you come cross before? In our another site, we had jetpack videopress CDN and it works fine before but after I used your plugin there is an issue uploading video to videopress CDN server. Its not uploading there, but i can upload video and it can save into our server (wp-content/uploads). What we wanted to upload video via media library and it would sync with CDN. But we are getting error (Unexpected response from the server. The file may have been uploaded successfully. Check in the Media Library or reload the page.).

When we deactivated your plugin i.e. disable page caching and deactivate then i can upload video to jetpack CDN. I am not sure is it your plugin is interfering or another plugin!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @zakirstage,

So is it possible to name those tables name your plugin created ? So i can delete them all and then install as fresh.

    – If you look at the uninstall.php file of the plugin you will see that the plugin does not create any custom table but added a few data in wp_option table. Ther are the following:

    swcfpc_config
    swcfpc_version
    swcfpc_preloader_lock
    swcfpc_purge_cache_lock
    swcfpc_fc_ttl_registry

Are you aware of your plugin any issue with jetpack videopress CDN?

    – No we are not aware of that. When you face the unexpected error, can you check your browser console to see if there is any error reported there? Also, it would be great if you can share a screen recording of the situation along with how you use the jetpack video CDN. We have never personally used it. I am expecting the browser console have some details when the error has occurred. But the crazy thing is inside the WP admin nothing is cached so you should not face any issue when uploading things via media library. We need more data in order to debug it.

Thank you for the option meta key name, this will really help, i will find and delete them and reinstall the plugin.

Regarding jetpack videopress upload issue, When we upload video, it shows 400 Bad Request in browser console. and the error says:

This type of file not permitted for security purpose.

    https://www.awesomescreenshot.com/video/2528923?key=2a70f5a4bd01926fa93917cdced01d79

Funny part is, i have this rule in wp-config.php file:

    define( ‘ALLOW_UNFILTERED_UPLOADS’, true );

So I don’t understand why that type of error.

So i am just thinking who blocking it? Jetpack server or Cloudflare. Jetpack support team says they don’t block and our account is active. But they didnt answer why i cannot even upload video via their own site which is wordpress/com/media/oursiteurl. Even I upload video from their own interface, the error shows.

    https://www.awesomescreenshot.com/image/5991086?key=f2b6a4a23a11e161ea60dacd0d565c74

I deleted your plugin but still having this issue though cloudflare is integrated with our site with free plan. I am thinking to pause the Cloudflare and test.

    Lastly, please
Can you recommend a good video CDN? We are using imagekit for Image but cannot find any video CDN apart of jetpack videopress. My client bought their license so we are using it, we love to ditch it if we find alternative.

    Thank you.

    Have a nice day.

    Hi @zakirstage,
I read your whole message and saw the screen recording & screenshot. Really thank you for that. Especially for the console logs. After looking at this I’m certain that the problem is not coming from our plugin and coming from Jetpack as you can see the API which returns error 400 is jetpack’s own API which is not a file hosted in your webserver and not going via Cloudflare.

You can still check the Firewall section under your Cloudflare dashboard is CF is flagging something or not. Just to be certain.

Coming to image & video optimization. I’m happy to hear you use imagekit which I also use for many of my sites and client sites. Now that being said, here is the rule that I follow, if my site’s image bandwidth monthly is <20GB (i.e. sites with small traffic), I always go with imagekit as it is under their free usage. Anything beyond that imagekit becomes too expensive which is why I recommend my clients to go with Cloudflare Pro which has on the fly image optimization + providing image with next gen format like imagekit but unlimited bandwidth. Check Cloudflare Polish & Mirage products (google them).

Now nothing to Video CDN, You can use Cloudflare Stream or Wistia. I’m not saying the jetpack videopress is bad. But what you have to think is that how the video is shown. By that what I mean is if your website is https://example.com which is on cloudflare, you have to make sure that the jetpack cdn videos load with different hostnames like https://cdn.jetpack-video.com/.../abc.mp4 or https://vidcdn.example.com/.../abc.mp4

As cdn.jetpack-video.com & vidcdn.example.com are not being proxied over Cloudflare CDN it will use the jetpack CDN and not Cloudflare CDN. BTW even if you juload videos normally and load them in your website which is running over Cloudflare, it will be cached via CF CDN, you don’t need to pay anything extra for that. CF CDN will provide everything if you want.

    Okay sorry for late reply.

    Jetpack videopress has unique URL:

For example if i upload video via media library, then it process and creates url something like this:

    [video src="https://videos.files.wordpress.com/oz4oKzh3/chapter-9-4_hd.mp4" /]

I think its Jetpack issue not the clouflare. As we have another site(hublearn.com) and its integrated with cloudflare with free plan and i can upload video and jetpack is working as it should be. But in our another site (shopbylocals.com) its not. Both sites cloudflare is integrated with free plan and your plugin is deactivated now. So I can rule out your plugin is causing the issue. And I can rule out cloudflare. Only Jetpack is responsible and these jetpack support team still cannot figure it out why we are getting 400 bad request while we upload video.

Anyways, i can sort this out with them asking refund.

    Thank You. Really appreciate.

    closing this ticket.
