Can you insert images on the sides of WordPress site, all pages of a set theme?

    This is my new WordPress.org site

    I’ve emailed the author of the particular theme I’m utilizing, “Ever After”, but I guess my ? is also general nature so any help would be greatly appreciated.

    I would really like to make use of this theme, but with what I want to do, I guess it might not be possible. I want to insert images on both sides of my site’s pages. So it’s not to the sides of a given post or page as generated by WordPress, but the actual site page. I’m wondering if this particular theme might not be able to handle this type of custom option, but I don’t want to expend time finding another theme if it’s not possible in a general theme nature.

    So it’s not to the sides of a given post or page as generated by WordPress, but the actual site page.

    Sorry it’s not clear to me what you mean by this.

    I was trying to clarify that I want my images inserted to basically the sides of every page on my site. I didn’t want this to be misconstrued as trying to insert an image within a given post.

    So clicking on my site, or any page, images would be on the sides.

    If you want this to work regardless of the theme then you’d need to look into a plugin. But it won’t be in the same position on every theme. Maybe one of these http://wordpress.org/plugins/search.php?q=banner+sidebars&sort=
