    Hi Ian,

    have you followed the instructions here?:
    http://wordpress.org/plugins/amr-shortcode-any-widget/ – see the instructions sub heading. Are these what you are referring to as “hit and miss”? I’m happy to take constructive advice as to how they could be improved.

    I’m happy to look at peoples site if I have spare time, however in absences of a suspected bug, I charge for that level of service. I would of course need some info about what it is you are trying to do and what it is that is ‘not working’.

    If your problems relate to the widget you are trying to use, please post that question in that forum. IE: Get the widget working in a normal sidebar first. Many of the questions I get here are not due to this plugin but due to the widget that people are trying to use.
