Can you have 2 blogs on one site?

    I’m fairly new to WordPress, so forgive me if this is a stupid question!
    I’d like to have two blogs on my site – one to accommodate “News” items, and the second to use for a more conventional “Blog” which contains my own scribblings/opinions etc.
    I realise I could simply use categories to separate the two functions, but would really like the News and the Blog completely separate, with their own individual menu items.
    I hope this is something which can be done!

    create 2 directories in you file manager

    call 1 of them blog and the other news

    now upload wordpress to both directories and install it

    If you have subdomains, you can create a subdomain for each blog.
    Then install the files to each subdomain directory.

    blog1.example.com
    otherstuff.example.com
