I am trying to put shortcode in my index.php but still not work I already read the link you give for another > https://developer.wordpress.org/reference/functions/do_shortcode/

but poor I don’t understand it. I am really beginner.

Emily,

if you are editing a php template then you do NOT need this plugin.
It would be more sensible to call the widget you want directly in the php with the parameters that you want.

There are many examples on that page with various widgets.
