    Hello,
Testing your plugin but the German translation doesn’t work and has a lot of issues. Made a complete new pot file of your plugin including po/mo files for formal German.

    But cannot use simple-download-monitor-de_DE_formal.po, simple-download-monitor-de_DE_formal.mo.

    Please, can you check this?

    Hi,

Almost perfect. Checked the strings and it seems that one doesn’t work, see https://www.schlossschule.org/digitalisierung/schullogos-zur-pressenutzung/

Part “I agree to the terms and conditions” cannot be translated (frontend).

    Best,
    Thorsten

Will send you the modified translated German formal file

    Thank you.

    Hello!

I also have issues regarding translation.

First it did not work. I found that in main php there was an error in loading the language path:
    load_plugin_textdomain(‘simple-download-monitor’, false, dirname(plugin_basename(__FILE__)) . ‘/languages/’);

There was ‘/langs/’ before. After changing this line the translations worked but many of them are missing:

Opening the po file (using Poedit) I could not find texts like “Terms and conditions”. I’m using version 3.6.2.

Do you know of any other issues?

Thanx in advance for your help
    Horst

If you delete the plugin and then install it again, it should pick up the new POT file and the new code. You won’t lose any data so go ahead and delete the plugin then install it again. The translation should work fine after that.

Thank you very much – works like a charm!
