[resolved] Can you add pagination for a single blog post? (3 posts)

I am interested in breaking the content in a single post into multiple pages. I want pagination like regular loops, with the numbers and next/previous buttons at the foot of the page, but I want to specify the break points in the body of the post itself. In other words, within the body of the post itself, I want to specify where the pagination will happen much in the same way that you would use a "more" tag.

Is this possible, or even advisable? Would it be better to simply use multiple posts and link them together with a taxonomy loop, or something? I'm trying for user-friendliness on the back end.

One way is to use the <!--nextpage--> tag to break a post into multiple pages. Here is an article that may help: http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-split-wordpress-posts-into-multiple-pages/
