Can WP-PagiNavi be used for posts AND BP groups?

    I need to display several custom post types AND BuddyPress groups on the same page, ordered by date.
    I have this in a custom SQL query. So far so good. But now the rest of the site uses WP-pagenavi (working fine) and i would like to have the same navigation on this mixed posts-groups page.

    Is this possible?
