• I’ve been a fan and supporter of CommentLuv for years, yet find myself become a bit worried about continuing to use it. It hasn’t been updated in 10 months, the support desk URL is dead, the official website URL now redirects to some design website that has nothing to with CommentLuv and posts are being left here without any replies from support.

All this is pointing to CommentLuv being abandoned. I hope this isn’t the case but this is what it looks like.

It would be nice to at least have some information so that we can give up on it and move on if necessary. And if Andy and Aaron can’t (or don’t want to) continue supporting the plugin, couldn’t they consider passing the torch onto an active developer who would be interested in continuing to develop and maintain this much-loved and much-used plugin?

I was about to install this plugin and noticed it’s been a while since it updated. So I also wanted to visit their site, and noticed the same.

I’d like to know whether CommentLuv has been discontinued too. I’ve had to deal with hackers in the last months way too much, and am very reluctant to add anything which isn’t being maintained anymore…

I too would like to know if it’s been discontinued. I purchased CommentLuv Premium in the past, and while the plugin seems to be working, I can’t check or alter the configuration which I learned a few minutes ago.

    Hmmm, that’s not good.

I came on to ask if it will be updated for Php 7 but obviously there are bigger issues at play which is such a pity a I have loved this plugin and used it for years…

Andy was diagnosed with MS a while back. I’m wondering if he’s still around to manage everything.

I have premium and went to install it on another site and found that his domain is down when I tried to validate the license.

It’s a pity because I liked the plugin.

It’s sad to hear that he’s having health problems and that the support is gone. I love CommentLuv.

Did you find a way to validate on your new site? I’m moving hosting and will have the same problem needing to validate.
