Can we have more then three featured pages?

    Hi,
    I have a very specific demand from one of my clients, who wants to put four ‘featured pages’ on the home page. I wonder if there is an easier way to do it in a way that one can set the contents etc from that theme Setup page. I will appreciate an early response to it DO NOT want to hack the core files.

    OR if one can do this using a child theme? am not sure even if it does support a child theme or not.

    Planned in future release (not sure which yet). Nic?

    Can hack the files in child theme as short-term solution.

    I will love to even do that can you give me some incite into it or a little details about how to add an extra area?

    You’d have to edit customizr/parts/class-content-featured_page.php and refresh the CSS around it.

    Not simple unless you have coding skills.

    Thanks for the response I am done with it, have to change couple of admin files as well. I have done it using a ‘child theme’ so that my work is safe even when the client updates the core themes.

    Great! Assuming it is resolved, can you set this as [resolved] please. (Dropdown in right sidebar) Helps monitoring what problems are still outstanding. Thanks

    Thank you for the quick response. Can you give me a step by step how to or code to paste and where? I would like to try and do it. I like the look of six featured pages from a site in the showcase, i thought this feature was going to be added. i hope a you tube video will be made to show how this can be done. I appreciate your time and any assistance.
