    Hello,

    I have a question.

    when i go over my header, everythings turns darker. The header itself and the menu. But I want everything to turn darker only when you go over it. separate. I have HOME - CONTACT - ABOUT ME - etc. in the menu and I want everything separate.

    I hope someone understands me and can/will help me!

    Thanks a lot!

    First install this Custom CSS Manager plugin:

    Then try adding this to your Custom CSS Manager section of the dashboard:

    #masthead { opacity: initial; }

    #masthead hgroup a,
    .main-navigation a { opacity: .2; }

    #masthead hgroup a:hover,
    .main-navigation a:hover { opacity: 1; }

    Thank you so much! That's excacly what i meant!

    But.. another question! Can you also tell me how to change the colour of my menu. It's light grey now and almost unreadeble.
    i changed opacity; .2; and .1; in 5 and 3. but its still not what I really want.

    Do you still want the opacity?

    no, i still want it. it's excacly what i want. but my background is white so the words are invisable. only when you come across them by accident they 'light up'

    I have the same problem if people want to add a comment on a post. it's invisible. there is a 'add comment' link, but you cannot see it because it's the same colour as my background.

    Try adding:

    .main-navigation a { color: #40E0D0; }

    Anything lighter than #999999 (original colour) is going to have poorer contrast.

    i havent put my page online,
    but i found a way to show you what i mean.

    http://tinypic.com/r/snje53/5 here it shows nothing. this is what it looks like when you enter the post.

    http://tinypic.com/r/e7nz13/5 this is what it looks like when you cross the comment area.

    can i change that in #40E0D0 as well?

    Those fixes were just for the menu. Sorry I like to focus on one issue at a time. How's the menu?

    Now try changing this:

    .main-navigation a { color: #40E0D0; }

    To this:

    .main-navigation a,
    .entry-meta a { color: #40E0D0; }

    Hello!

    So I was reading through this thread and found it to be extremely helpful. I am trying to adjust the color of my header font and navigation links to a darker gray. I installed the Custom CSS Manager Plugin and I added the following code in the dashboard:

    .main-navigation a { color: #545464; }

    But nothing seems to be changing. The goal is for both the title, "Besos Barcelona" and the navigation links "CONTACT ABOUT & HOME" to all be this dark gray color, before scrolling your mouse over them.

    This is what it looks like currently: http://besosbarcelona.net/

    Any help anyone could provide would be greatly appreciated!! Thank you!
