Can this be used with a non-hosted (youtube or vimeo) videos? | WordPress.org

Hello;

I am looking to use this plugin or something similar without a hosted video. With a video that is uploaded to the wp server rather than YouTube or Vimeo. Is that possible?

Hi, as far as I know the plugin only works with external links from YouTube and Vimeo. You need to add a video ID number. Internal links don’t have a video ID number.

Yes, that is what I figured. Can you suggest a similar plugin to do the same with self hosted videos?

Have you tried to use WordPress video inserting features? You might like to check the following pluginwordpress-lightbox-ultimate-plugin.
